This Rosé from the 2023 Vintage comprises Pinot Noir from our oldest, most easterly vineyard and Bacchus grapes from our lowest altitude vineyard, just 40m above sea level.

Primary fermentation commenced in both stainless steel tanks and oak barrels and one clay Amphora. A further 11 months of cellar ageing has allowed a roundness and bright fruity complexity to develop whilst retaining fresh acidity and a crisp dry finish.

This wine has not been subjected to fining or filtration and like all Castlewood wines, filled not using pumps and only under gravity.

TASTING NOTES

A gorgeous colour of orange-rosé, Provencal in style with aromas of fleshy pineapple and ruby grapefruit. The palate is beautifully balanced by bright notes of peach and citrus, developing through to a refreshing mineral finish.

Great with antipasti or simply SHARED chilled with friends.
